Usage Instructions

The rules for using CSRM Green Blocks and Bricks are:

1. Laying the First Course: Start by laying the first course of blocks on a level surface using a cement mixer.

2. Beam and Roof Clearance: Leave a 19.1/2" gap below the beams or the roof, which will be filled with pie ciptin and a PVC pipe during finishing.

3. Starting the Wall: Begin laying blocks on one end of the wall, leaving a 1.1/2" gap, which will be filled with pie ciptin after 5-6 days.

4. Maximum Daily Laying: In a day, you can lay up to 4 courses of 10mm blocks, 5 courses of 100mm blocks, or 6 courses of 140mm blocks.

5. Subsequent Courses: Lay subsequent courses using a regular cement mixer following standard masonry practices. Before laying each course, thoroughly wet the previous course with water. Cure the block wall with water for at least 10 days.

6. Door and Window Openings:

For door, window, or open-end gaps, use 3 yarn rods from the floor to the lintel and fill the gaps in the blocks with grout.

7. Lintel Construction: Construct lintels according to the design using rods and 1:2:4 concrete.

8. Plastering: Apply 3/4" plaster to exterior walls and 1/2" plaster to interior walls. Use a 1:5 mix of mortar for plastering.

9. Block Laying Preparation: Before laying blocks, measure the wall length and adjust the block layout accordingly. Maintain a 1/2" joint between blocks. This eliminates the need to cut or break blocks.
